Mr. and Mn Charles Marks, who have recently completed their new home and are now furnishing it. Visit Old Home Mr. and Mrs L. B. Hicks and daughter, I,oya Jean, spent four days last week visiting in their former home town, Warrenton. En route thev were overnight guests in Drain of relatives, Mr. and Mrs. Leon Pat terson. Mr. Hicks enjoyed a crab fishing trip on the ocean while at Warrenton, which is located at the mouth of the Columbia. On Furlough Pvt. Jo Levine is enjoying a furlough from Army duty at Fort Knox, Ky., with friends in Koseburg. Sunday he will leave for Seattle to visit rel atives and then will go on to Bos ton to visit his parents, Mr. and Airs. Biu Levine, tormer local res idents, and then will return to Fort Knox. In May he expects to be sent to Germany for duty. Rsturn From Trip Mr. and Mrs. P. T. Bubar and Dr. and Mrs. D. B. Bubar returned Friday evening from a two-week vacation trip to Southern California. The former couple spent some time in Long Beach with their son-in-law and daughter, Mr. and Mrs. Don McKillop, and family, while the latter couple went on to San Di ego for several days. Mrs. Swanson acted as matron of honor at the wedding of her twin sister, Janet, who was married to Allan de Lauvenfels last weekend. Mrs. Swanson is the former Joyce Harpham. Go To Eugene Mr. and Mrs. Allan de Lauvenfels drove to Eu gene Monday to take Miss Flor ence Okihara to board the plane for her home in Santa Monica, Calif. Miss Okihara came to Rose burg for the de Lauvenfels-Harp-ham wedding, and was a house guest at the Vernon Harpham home during her five-day stay. Return From Palm Springs Returning during the weekend to their home here were Mr. and Mrs. Roy Cummings, who have been on a two-week vacation trip to Palm Springs. Hare For Contort House guests at the home ef Mr. and Mrs. Fred Hogue this past weekend were Mr. and Mrs. H. E. Hermanson of Taft, ' Ore. They all attended the Cas cade College Choir of Portland concert given at the North Rose burg Church Sunday afternoon. The Hermanson'a son, Edward, is a member of the choir.
