Scottish Recital
The skirl of bagpipes played by
Scotty Sinclair, opened the recit

Wednesday for a regular business
meeting.
Mrs. Evelyn Smith was given
the Grange obligation of the fourth
degree and Mr. and Mrs. Cecil
Liesinger received the first and
second degrees.
The committee on Umpqua Im
provement Assn., gave a report on
their last meeting. The home eco
nomics chairman gave a report
and announced the next meeting
will be held on March 6 at the
grange hall, with Maljel Pearce
and Hazel Woodrow as hostesses.
Master Eunice Haslam spoke
briefly on the death benefit plan
for members. Ralph Pearce pre
sented some interesting points on
the subject. The committee for
renting the hall submitted rental
prices which were voted on, with
