LOW MONTHLY TERMS Lyndon Johnson Said) Almost Fully Recovered ATLANTA W Lyndon Johnson, the Senate's Democratic majority leader from Texas, was reported by a specialist this week to be almost completely recovered from his heart attack of last summer. 'Sen. Johnson is now active and his reactions to activity aro nor mal," said Dr. J. Willis Hurst aft er an examination. "His blood pressure is normal. The heart size is normal and his electrocardiogram has returned to normal." Johnson came here for consulta tion at Emory University Hospital with Hurst, who while on active naval duty treated him earlier in ihe year at the naval hospital in Jethesda, Md. The physician while noting many favorable signs of John's recovery cautioned that the senator should maintain "a careful regime of controlled activity." Summerfield Says Nor To Spot Mail Delivery WASHINGTON iM Postmaster General Summerfield this week asked the public not to try to spot mail delivery of Christmas cards and parcels for Christmas Eve. "The thought behind the gift or card, not the time of arrival, is the important consideration," he said in a -statement. Summerfield stressed that shoot ing for Dec. 24 delivery puts an extra burden on postal employes and facilities. Summerfield said the postal service is being geared for another record volume and that every ef fort will be made to have ail Christmas mail delivered by Christmas. He added: "By following the simple sugges tions of mailing early, wrapping carctully, and addressing plainly, patrons will be assured of the snfe and timely arrival of all Christmas mail." EXPECT BIG JUMP BEAVERTON (1 Officials estimated this week that Washing ton County's school population will increase another 1.000 this year.
