THE WEDDING of Shelley Lerane Shelamer and Elva Jane Dauven took place June 24 at the First Presbyterian Church manse on South Main Street. Dr. James Millar performed the ceremony in the presence of the bride's grandmother and Mrs. Millar, who acted as witnesses. The Neighborhood Church of Christ at Sutherlin was the scene of a pretty afternoon wedding Sun day, July 31, when Miss Jacque line Rasmussen became the bride of Vance Baird Smith of Suther lin. The Rev. Lloyd Whitford per formed the ceremony at i o'clock before friends and relatives. Baskets of whiteand yeliow car nations and candelabra formed the church decorations. Carol Firman was accompanied by Mrs. Charles Watson, organist, when she sang 1 Love You Truly," "Oh Promise Me" and "Wedding Prayer." Can dlelighters were David Rasmussen and Jerry Longton. The brine, given in marriage ny her father, was beautiful in a white embroidered organdy ballerina gown. She carried a bouquet of white carnations with an orchid center.
