Winston Man's j Father Visits By MRS. TED PETERSON , A recent visitor at the Noel Campbell home was Campbell's father, Drew Campbell, a resident of Los Angeles, Calif. Rtporltd Better Mrs. Rosa Heinbach, ' Dillard news correspondent, is reported to be recovering satisfactorily from a badly sprained ankle she received while visiting her daugh ter, Ina Lee, in California. Miss Bculah Johnson left last Saturday for Mexic Cty where she plans to attend summer school. Before leaving for the south, Miss Johnson's mother and brother, Tom, joined her in Winston for a visit of several days. Mr. and Mrs. Art Jonson and son, Tom, are spending the summer months at their ranch in Canada. Enjoying a recent weekend trip through the Redwoods and coast al points were Mr. and Mrs. J. E. Sims and son, Dexter; Mr. and Mrs. C. E. Bowman and Miss Shir ley Wilson and son. Dexter. Bobby Nelson, son of Mr. and Mrs. Albin Nelson, Gregory Av enue is recovering satisfactorily from a recent attack of bronchitis. Sunday dinner guests at the home of Mr. and Mrs. J. E. Sims in Winston Section were, Mr. and Mrs. J. N. Sims and children, Jennifer and Cynthia, Mr. and Mrs. C. E. Bowman, Mr. and Mrs. Ev erett Fuller of Brokenbow, Neb., and Mrs. Shirley Wilson and small son, Dexter. Mr. and Mrs. Rodney Pruitt (MiUi Dowdy) are expected to re turn next week to their apartment in West Winston following a honey moon trip to California and Oregon points of interest. Dexter Sims has returned to his home in Winston Section after a stay in Corvallis where he was Junior Boys counselor at Beaver Boys State. Flames and smoke beat back all rescue attempts from the house where Roy Riggs was sleeping. His wife, hysterical, was brought here to a hospital. Plans had been made to hold the picnic at Baker Park, , but when the group arrived, the park guard stated that over 100 cars were on the grounds and no more space available. For the first tlm since before World War II, a number of Soviet cities will be open to American and other tourists in what appar ently will be big effort to en courage foreign travelers.
