New York Cab Driver Thinks Morse Greatest WASHINGTON I - A New York cab driver has contributed $5 to one re-election campaign" of Sen. Morse (D-Ore). Tha money was presented to the Senator by Mrs. Ann Chambers, Oregon City, Ore., union official. She said it was given to her in New York, where she was attend ing an international retail clerks convention, by Bernard Leppen. She said Leppen told her he thinks Morse is the "greatest living American and the most honest man in government today." Marshall are back at their home in Roseburg fol lowing a vacation at Richland, Wash., visiting their son and daughter-in-law, Mr. and M r s. Thomas Marshall, and family. To Portland Mrs. S. C. Elam went to Portland Friday to visit her mother. Elam and Mike and Sherry drove to Portland Sunday to bring Mrs. Elam and her moth er back home. The latter will vis it here for a time. Her From Coast Visiting Mr. and Mrs. Ken Moore and children over the holiday were M r s. Moore's mother. Mrs. Leo De- Spain, and son, Leo Jr., who is on furlough from Marine Corps duty. The two families camped at Clcawox State Park for several days. Canyonville Obtains Full-Time Minister By VIRGINIA PROCTOR Glen W. Lundy. evangelist, with his wife and son, Clell, have mov ed to Canyonville where they have taken the pastorale of the first Church of Christ on West First Street. He is the first fulltime pastor to serve this congregation, which he helped organize in 1950, when he served the Church of Christ in Grants Pass. He served the Church of Christ at F.scondido, Calif., for 2'4 years before com ing 10 cunyonviliu. The new pastor plans to in crease the Bible study groups for all ages. He has tentatively sched uled a vacation Bible school for Auaust 1. The Lundy's have one other son, James stationed with the Army at Ft.
