Visit Over Weekend Mr. and Mrs. Ted Cosby and ohildren, Nancy, Gloria, Teddy and Cheryl, of Portland, spent the weekend in Roseburg as guests of Mrs. Cos by's brother and sister-in-law, Mr. and Mrs. Jack West, and family, in Laurelwood, en route to Cali fornia on a vacation. Visiting Here Mrs. Carl Mul ler is spending the week in Rose burg visiting friends. Muller brought her to Roseburg and fol lowing the weekend visiting, went to Klamath Falls on business. He will pick her up later in the week to return to their home in Salem. They formerly resided here. Will Be Married Invitations have been received here by rela tives and friends to the wedding of Miss Joann Deaton, daughter of Mn and Mrs. Jay Deaton of Petaluma, Calif., and Corporal Marvin G. Asnman. son or Mr. and Mrs. G. H. Ashman of Rose burg. The wedding will take place July 10 at the Methodist Church in Petaluma. Miss Deaton has been a student at Santa Rose Jun ior College. Kennedy of Roseburg left today for Mather Air Force Base in Sacramento, Calif., to at tend the wedding July 1 of their son, Second Lieutenant Maurice Wayne Kennedy, and Stephany Spangl, daughter of Frank Joseph Spangl and Mrs. Virginia Shum way Spangl of Houston, Tex Chaplain Porter will perform the nuptials at the chapel at the Air Base. Rod Newland left Saturday for Parks Air Force Base in California, fol lowing a trip to Roseburg to act as best man at the wedding of his sister, Marcia Newland, and Lauren Loveland. Berry, 1017 Union Ave. Miss Melba is a music major at College of the Pa cific in Stockton, Calif.' Visiting Here Mr. and Mrs. Thomas F. Bowen are tvisiting Mrs. Frank Hayes, 115 Ramp Road, Roseburg. Bowen lived here for 12 years. He and Mrs. Bowen were married two years ago and plan to remain here per manently if Bowen finds employ ment. They have been touring the country in their 15-foot trailer. Mrs. Bowen, formerly of Sacra mento, reports she likes Roseburg and hopes to make her home here. Visiting In Portland Mrs. I. B. Riddle of Roseburg has gone to Portland to visit her sister. Here Over Weekend Mr. and Mrs. E. F. Marcel and baby son, Kevin Taylor, of Menlo Park, Calif., spent the weekend in Rose burg visiting Mrs. Marcel's par ents, Mr. ana Mrs. a. b. Taylor. They were accompanied home by their son, Richardwho had been here the last week visiting their daugmer, inane, remained lor a longer visit here with her matern nal grandparents.
