Zhukov Would Continue Letters To Eisenhower MOSCOW W Soviet Defense Minister Marshal Georgi Zhukov said here that he expecu to con tinue correspondence with "my old friend" President Eisenhower. Eisenhower disclosed at a news conference April 27 that he had had an exchange of "absolutely personal" correspondence with Zhu kov with whom Eisenhower had cordial relations in the first days of the occupation of Germany. The president said 'the cor respondence came about "because of the nature of our two positions and based upon old friendship." Zhukov made the statement at an' informal news conference with Western reporters during the Brit ish embassy garden part' honoring the birthday of Queen Elizabeth II. The reporters asked Zhukov what was in the correspondence he had already had with Eisenhower. "We have agreed for the time being not to reveal the contents of our correspondence," Zhukov replied.
