DO YOUR OWN WORK

CLEANUP WEEK in Roseburg starts Monday in the busi
ness area from Mosher street to Deer Creek. City street de
partment trucks will pick up refuse at parkings and street
edges. The junk and refuse must be placed at the edge
of the street by property owners before it will be picked
up for disposal. The aid to property users by the city wi
continue through the week in the areas designated above.
City Manager George Farrell said the city trucks would
pick up any junk. He urged property users to take advantage
of the effort to make Roseburg the "cleanest city in the
state."
