They were unhurt, Tyrrell G. Lowry, 22, a senior from Portland, and Richard D. Gil bert Jr., 20, a junior, also from Portland, missed a turn without being aware of it while coming down the peak Wednesday after noon and soon were lost. But, they told rescuers, they con tinued on down past the snow line to open timber, built a fire and spent the night beside it.
