Geary said he would get tie
House committees to work imme
diately after Gov. Paul Patterson's
message. Monday afternoon.
He predicted there would be a
record number of bills introduced
in the House on Tuesday.
"I am asking the committee
chairmen to consider all non-controversial
bills first so they can be
acted upon. This would put the
committees in better shaoe to sive
most of their time to important
legislation," Geary said.
Geary and Smith haven't com'
plcted the appointment of the leg
islative committees.- Membership
