tory message from Mayor Croft
His message reads: "I strongly
urge every civic-minded man and
woman in Roseburg to take advan

Fire is a real family affair, where
the influence of the home is ol
paramount concern in the program

their most valuable contribution
through their roles as group lead
ers, guiding youngsters along the
trail to happy living. Men, along
with women, contribute to , the

group sponsors and by taking an
active role. on committees, where
their special skills can be used to
full advantage.
"Although there are many girls

less others who are eager to join
groups," Mayor Croft continued in
his statement. "These are the
girls we want to reach but In or
der to extend membership bene

adult volunteers the backbone
of any youth organization. I sin
cerely hope that the hand of friend
ship, being offered by Camp Fire
girls and potential Damp Fire
girls, will not be refused. Thev

our actual help. You can help by
volunteering as a leader, spon
