Black of Roseburg are enjoying a vacation in Reno and San Francisco. Vacationing Mrs. Hazel Belle Scruggs of Sutberlin and her friend, May N. Griffin of Tilla mook have left by automobile on an extensive trip to the Eastern states. ( V Enjoy Waakand Enjoying the weekend at Tenmile Lake and guests at Currier's Village from Boseburg were George West and twin sons, Richard and Robert, and Mr. and Mrs. William Hiber. They spent the weekend picnick ing and boating on Tenmile Lake. Enjoy Stay At Curriers Mr. and Mrs. William Lassiter have returned to their home in Rose burg following a trip to Currier's Village, where they enjoyed sev eral days of boating and fishing on Tenmle Lake. Warren Gardner, (Doro thy Chase), before going to De troit, Mich., to visit their son, Rob ert Chase, who is construction en gineer for the Great Lakes Steel Company. They will visit sisters of both Mr. and Mrs. Chase in Wisconsin and with Mrs. Chase's brother in Chicago, where they will also visit her nephew. They plan to visit Mrs. Chase's sister in Iowa also. They will be gone for a month. Ellsworth Tilton, pastor of the First Methodist Church in Rose burg, has completed a two weeks' course in the American Institute of Family Relations in Los Ange les and will spend the next two weeks vacationing at coast points. He plans to do some deep-sea fish ing. The Rev. Mr. Tilton will be back in the pulpit at the Metho dist Church here after the Labor Day weekend. Mak Trip To Lak Mr. and Mrs. Eugene McElroy and daugh ter, Linda, and Mrs. McEiroy's mother, Mrs. Roy Catchng, re turned to Roseburg Thursdav night, following a trip to Lake O' The Woods, where they were over night guests of Mr. and Mrs. H.' H. Hobi and family. The McElroys brought home their two sons, Col lett and David, and Sharon Counts, who had been spending a week vacationing and visiting the Hobi family.
