their golden wedding anniversary
at their home on Umpqua Ave., in
Roseburg. They now make their
home with their son and daughter-in-law,
Mr. and Mrs. G. H.
Welker, at 1153 Harvard Ave.,
where their sixty-first wedding
celebration took place.
The Welkers are the parents of
five children, four of whom are
livings nine grandchildren tnd
(fourteen great-grandchildren.
Mr. and Mrs. Welker came to
Oregon in 1916 and first lived in
Myrtle Creek. They have resided
in or near Roseburg since com
ing west. Their many friends wish
them continued good health and
happiness.

ness meeting. "Fun. Night" has
been scheduled for March 12, with
a potluck supper at the Riversdale
Grange. Mrs. Ralph L. Wiley and

on the affair which proved very

crowned by the queen of last year.

man, Bette Pack, Marian Bolsing
er and Eileen McLean. Beth Tuck
er, ritual chairman, will be in
charge of the dance. Smorgasbord
plates will be sold. Formal dress
is optional.
At the close of the ceremonies,
a social hour was enjoyed with re
freshments being served by Beth
Tucker. Margaret Walton and Mo
ra Lewis.
The next business meeting wilt
be Monday. Feb. 22, at 8 p.m. at
the .Moose Hall. Members and vis
iting members invited.
