FOX Jim Miller, head millwright at the Robert Dollar mill in Glendale, ran a piece of cedar through hia right hand Friday morning and was hospitalized in Grants Pats, i Granddaughter Vialts Susan Fassler, 10-monrhs-old granddaughter of Mr. and Mri. E. H. Kenneda, baa been vliiting her grandparents for a few days while her parenta, Mr. and Mrs. Gerald Fassler, move from Klrby to Wlilets, Calif. . Mr. and Mrs. George Smith from Oroville, Wash., and Mrs. Ruth Rose of Soutbgate, Calif., were guest of Mr. and Mrs. F. H, Van Valkenburg recently.- Mr. and Mrs. Chris Crow from Grants Pass visited the Sam Phil lips family Sunday afternoon and preached Sunday night at the Glen dale Oneness Pentecostal Church. The Glendale Social Club Is plan ning to hold an Easter Sunday breakfast at the IOOF Hall. Tick et sales are being handled by Mrs. Betty Reed. Mrs. Fester Dies Word was received last week that Mra. Foster, the mother of Mrs. Roy Ramey of Azalea, had died at her home in Muskegon, Mich, on March 25. Mr. and Mrs. Ramey were called to Michigan some time ago by Mra. Foster's illness, and according to Mrs. El liott Wooleridge, who haa been managing their R. It F grocery in Azalea, there has been no def inite Information aa to when they .will return. Marilyn Ramey, on spring vacation from Southern Oregon School of Education at Ashland, arranged to return late to classes and left for Michigan on March 21, arriving there just two days before her grandmother's death. Ruth and James Thompson, who . moved to Tiller about a year and I half ago, returned to Glendale last Saturday to make their borne here. Mr. and Mrs. James Bowden of Glendale spent the weekend at Leb anon visiting relatives. Mrs. J. F. Miller of Glendale was quite ill recently but la reported to be improving. ' David Smith, son of Mr. and Mrs. Bob Smith, who was injured in a football accident last fall, Is now walking with the help of a cane and is enjoying school and other activities. Roy Allen, son of Mr. and Mrs. Leo Allen of Barton Road, was home for spring vacation recently. He returned to his work at Simp son Bible Institute In Seattle on Saturday of last week.
