Mrs. Wilson is an aunt of Mrs. Lassiter. Mrs. Lassiter was formerly Helen 8a cher of this city. Return To California Mr. nwl Mrs. Charles DeHaven of San Ui- ego have left for their home, fol lowing a visit here with the for mer's father, C. R. DeHaven, and with an aunt, Mrs. Minme Dag ley, on Burke Street. The D Havens formerly resided here, at which time Mr. DeHaven was em ployed by Mitchell Brothers Log ging Co. Loaves For San Francisco Miss Clare Patrick has left for her home in San Francisco, fol lowing a few weeks in Roseburg and Portland. In Portland, she visited with Mr. and Mrs. Shir ey Goodman (brother-in-law' and sister of Miss Agnes Pitchford of this city), and while here, she vis ited her brother-in-law and sister, Mr. and Mrs. A. C. Spencer. Miss Patrick is employed by NBC Stu dios in San Francisco. . Returns To Coquilla Mrs. How ard Marsh, nee Eva Baker of Roseburg, returned to her home in Coquille the first of the week, following the weekend here with her mother, Mrs. R. G. Baker, on Melrose Road. Her husband; who accompanied her here for the weekend, went on to Corvallis to attend the school of instruction being held this week for state policeman. Their son, Eddie, is spending the entire week here with his grandmother, Mrs. Baker. The Marsh family formerly made their home here. Discharged Everett Hall, who has been I medical patient at Mercy Hospital, has returned to his Oakland home. Recovering Mrs. Dale Bol singer of Roseburg is reported re covering from recent surgery at Mercy Hospital. Ltavat For Vancouver Mrs. P. J. McKinney of North Jackson Street, Roseburg, left this week for Vancouver, B. C. to visit with, her daughter, Mrs. Richard Hoyt. Hat Mtdical Treatment Mif ton Schweppe of Rt. 1, Box 1372 was discharged from - Douglas Community HosDital Wednesday following medical treatment. Hat Surgtry Miss Carta Lee Taylor of Roseburg is at Mercy Hospital, where she underwent an appendectomy at the beginning of the week. She is reportedly doing fine. Rocovaring Glen Eckhart was discharged from Douglas Community Hospital Wednesday following major surgery. He is now convalescing at his home at 220 Terrace. Returns Homo Mrs. Gene Norris was discharged from Doug las Community Hospital Wednes day and returned to her Sutherlin home to recuperate from an ap pendectomy. . Leaves For San Francisco Mr. and Mrs. D. W. Helliwcll and son, Jimmy, and Mrs. Edgar Lew is left Wednesday afternoon for San Francisco, Calif., where they plan to spend the remainder of the week. . I Returns From Vacation Mr. and Mrs. Cal Storrs returned to their home in Roseburg Satur day following a two weeks vaca tion trip to Colorado, Nebraska, i South Dakota. Montana and Yel ', lowstone National Park. In Den ver, Colo., they were guests of Mr. Storrs" parents, Mr. and Mrs. H. B. Storrs. Thy visited with ; Mrs. Storrs' brother and sister-in-law, Dr. and Mrs. Allen Banik, at Carney, Ncbr.. and at Mo bridge, So. Dak., they were guests of Mrs. Storrs' mother. Mrs. Kate Banik. They also stayed at Rapids City, So. Dak., for. a few days. Returns From Trio Mr. and Mrs. William Kissinger returned mis weus irom a luw-nnie mmur trip that took them to Wiiliston, S'o. Dak., where they visited with Mrs. Kissinger's sister, Mrs. Mar 3aret Wallace. From there, they traveled through Duluth, Minn., and ferried across the Mackinaw Straits on the Great Lakes. At ort Huron, they visited with Mrs. Cissinger's brother and sister-in-iw, Mr. and Mrs. Frank Werner, nd at Toledo, 0., they visited an her brother and sister-in-law, Ir. and Mrs. Julius Werner.
