MISS VIRGINIA GIBBONS HONORED AT SHOWER Mrs. Margaret McKay and Mrs. Georgia Edmonds were joint host esses at a bridal shower in honor of Misa Virginia Gibbons of Rose burg at the home of Mrs. Ed monds on Del Rio Drive. The living room was beautifully decorated with bouquets of blue delphiniums and pink hydrangeas and Edith Jones. Games were enjoyed by every one and Mrs. Ted Booth and Mrs. Georgia Edmonds entertained with piano selections. Refreshments were served. Bringle of Sutherlin. became the bride of Alviii Neil Degner, Sutherlin, son of Mr. and Mrs. Clarence Ives, of Tcnino, Wash. The double-ring ceremony was performed by Rev. Luis Bove of the Sutherlin Methodist Church in front of the large window in the attractive Bringle home. Bouquets of sweetpeas and roses were used as decorations. Mrs. Cliff Watson played the background music and the wedding march and accompanied Nick Norton, who sang "Oh Promise Me" and "Be cause." The bride given in marriage by her father, was charming in a pastel blue suit with white access ories and carried a white Bible with ( baby rose corsage. The wed ding took place Tuesday afternoon, with Rev. Mr. Prather, pastor of the Drain Christian Church, per forming the ceremony in the pres ence of the immediate family.
