SELBY Jack Roach, injured by a fall ing tree June 18, was releaser! from Sacred Heart Hospital in Medford on July 4 and arrived home July 5, where he is now con valescing. Roach, employed by th Call fornia Oregon Power Co. as super intendent of construction at Tok. otce Falls, was riding in a power wagon on an inspection tour of Copco's Clearwater project. Em ployees were at work clearing and falling trees. A tree fell across the power wagon, killing the driv, er, Roy Wells instantly. Roach, sitting beside the driv. er, was knocked unconscious. Em ployees extricated him from th wreckage and a Copco ambulance from Tokotee Falls took Roach to Diamond Lake where he was transferred to an ambulance from Medford. lie suffered serious back and neck injuries, separation of ver tebrae and severe shock.
