GEORGE EOES A Livestock 4-H Club has been organized in the Scotts Vallev School with Wallace Birchill as leader. Officers elected include president, Donald Grass; vice president, Gail urmer; secretary, Anita Fullbright; news reporter, Mickey Heston, and song leader, Gail Briner. Meetings arc held the second and fourth Saturdays of each month at 9:30 a.m. There are 14 active members. Thirteen mem bers have sheen for their projects. One member has a calf, one goat and one pig. Six meetings have been held. Talks have been given on wool grading, care of pigs and care of lambs. The next meeting will be held at the Fred Reeves home in Elkhead March 22 at 9:30, fol lowed by a tour of the projects. Purse-Snorcher, Pants ' Thief Busy In Portland PORTLAND Iffl A burglar is going around stealing Portlanders pants. That's on the east side of the river, over on tne west stde, the menace is a purse-snatchcr. Police Tuesday reported that at least five homes had been entered and pants stolen. One householder saw the intruder make off with his pants and as the man fled, the wallet dropped to the grass. The west side purse-snatchcr has been at work for several nights.
