Mrs. Walker, former member sent in summary of the same book. Mrs. Dare Kingery gave a review of the book "Story of Lucy Carmichael" with a round table discussion following each report. JUNIOR BETHEL NIGHT TO BE HELD TUESDAY Junior Bethel Night at Job's Daughters is scheduled for Tues day, Feb. 19, at the Masonic Tem ple. The Junior Bethel officers will be honored at a potluck dinner at 5:30 o'clock followed by the bethel meeting with junior officers in the chairs. All regular bethel officers and other members are asked to at tend and bring a covered dish. salad or dessert. Council members will furnish the meat dish. Choir practice will follow the Dot- luck. PTA MEETING HELD MONDAY EVENING The second meeting of the re cently organized PTA of Anchor School District No. 59, met Mon day with an excellent attendance. A large wedding cake, honoring Mr. and Mrs. Newby, also a cake com memorating the 25th wedding of their daughter and husband, Mr. and Mrs. Raymond Jones, and a cake commemorating the 30th an niversary of their daughter, Ruth, AZALEA SUNSHINE CLUB MEETS RECENTLY The Azalea Sunshine Club met for Its regular meeting at the home of Mildred Booth with Frankie Schroder as co hostess. Elsie Prince, president of the club, opened the meeting. The minutes were read and the roll call taken by Esther Dirrig. The members voted to send $10 to the March of Dimes fund. The money is to be givec to Bob Mc Carl. Several games were played and quite a few won prizes. NAVY MOTHER'S CLUB TO MEET MONDAY NIGHT The Navy Mother's Club will meet for an annual potluck dinner, Feb. 18, at 6:30 o'clcok with Mrs. Mary Newhouse, 1307 Harrison St. Those having husbands, sons or daughters in the Navy Coast Guards, Marines or naval en force are eligible for membership in the club and especially wel come to the potluck dinner. There is a great need for the mother's help in serving the hos pitals and thosj in the services.
