The federal ', government Wednesday put a tax ; lien for more than a million dollars j against Rulta Barnett, a naturopath who is under grand jury indictment on a charge of manslaughter by ' abortion. At the same time it filed a $406, 604 lien against Beatrice Cook of th cum flnwntnwn nfficA huildinff address, 801 Broadway Building... The lien against Dr. Barnett brought under her married name of Ruth Barnett Bush lists these sums in additional income taxes sought: $340,541 for 1945: $315,149 for 1946; and $507,563 for 1947. The filing says these are ad ditional sums owed. It dees not say how much was paid for those years. The Beatrice Cook listing is: $203,316 for 1945; $194,304 for 1946; and $8,983 for 1947.
