Oakridge Edges Drain Hoopsters Oakridge overcame case of the 1 Jitters In the second half at Drain Tuesday night to hand the Warriors their second consecutive Valley League loss. 47-40. In the bitterly fought first half, the score was tied seven times and changed bands five. The Oak ridge crew only stayed in the game with its spectacular foul shooting. The visiting Warriors con nected on 14 of. 18 free throws in the first half. From the floor they added only two baskets. The malady was contageous be cause Drain had its jitter troubles also. The hosts led 7-9, In the first quarter, but dropped behind 18-17 at halftlme. The Drain trouble con tinued, however, after Oakridge cauKht fire in the third quarter. Loss of boardmen George Kelly and Marv Swearingen on fouls in that canto further dimmed the Drain hopes and the visitors went ahead, 45-38 in trie tourtn quarter.
