Red POWs Kill Fellows To Keep Them In Line SEATTLE W A military po liceman from Korea said Tuesday that dyed-in-the-wool Communists have used terror tactics, including death, to keep fellow prisoners ' in line in prisoner of war camps. Sst George Lawson of Louisville. Ky., told of it on his arrival here with 1,455 other army veterans from the Far East on the Navy transport Pvt Sadao Muncmorf. The passenger list included 17 Ore gon and 56 Washington State men. Another troop ship was due during the afternoon. Lawson said that during bis 10 months' service as an MP at one prisoner camp on an island off the Korean mainland there were about 10 killings inside the camp. "Most were fatal beatings," he said. "One was put under blankets and stomped to death." Others, he said, survived vicious beatings. He said the Inter-Korean violence would be "for deviating from the Communist line, as they called it." When a death case was pursued to a certain tent, occupied by SO or ro.
