They couldn't really blame their youngster. How could they expect
him to understand that he had to stop playing with his brand new train
because he was using the only remaining socket and they needed
a light.
,They themselves had been fed up for years with their poor wiring.
Jhey were tired of putting up with their collection of dust-collecting
'extension cord entanglements, with having to crawl under beds and
couches to pull out one plug so they could connect another. They
were sick of having so few outlets everywhere that in not a single
room could they arrange their furniture the way they wanted it. But
if wasn't until Junior had that fit that they decided they'd get
Adequate Wiring.
'"It's one of the best moves we ever made," they say. "Now we
have all the outlets we need, where we need them and Adequate
Wiring's brought us countless other comforts and benefits, too.".

Less fork, More Beef
Forecast For Next Year
WASHINGTON VP) The
Agriculture department forecasts
a nine percent reduction in the
1952 spring pig crop, indicating
that pork supplies will be much
smaller next tall and winter.
Beef aupplies, on the otherhand,
are expected to be larger. next
year.
The prospective cut in the num
ber of piga reflects a tightening
feed grain supply situation which
has forced corn prices up to a
point where many farmers are
unable to make money on hog
raising.
The department said the spring
crop ia expected to be about
56V4 miUion head compared with
61,857,000 last spring and 55,407,
000 for the 10 year (1940-49) aver
age. The spring crop moves to
slaughter markets in the follow,
ing fall and winter.
