EXECUTIVE COMMITTEE PLANS ANNUAL BAZAAR The executive board and bazaar advisory committee of the Epis copal church met Wednesday for a morning session at the home of Mrs. Will H. Gerretsen on Blak- eley street. Final plans were made for the annual bazaar to be held Nov. 30 and Dec. 1., in the new parish house on East Cass street. following the meeting a potluck luncheon was served to the fol lowing: Mrs. John Pierce, Mrs. Arthur Clarke, Mrs. George Houck, Mrs. Deming Branson, Mrs. Guy Cordon, Rev. and Mrs. Alfred Tyson, Mrs. A. JOINT MEETING PLANNED FOR TWO CLUBS WEDNESDAY The Olalla-Tenmile Home Ex tension unit and the enmile La dies club will hold a joint meeting at the home of Mrs. Vera Erbe Wednesday. The meeting will be gin at 11 a.m. with a potluck luncheon at noon. The Home Ex tension unit will have a soft toy kit from Oregon State college. This kit was secured from the college by Betty Patterson, county agent, for the use of those units who wish to make soft toys. It contains some patterns, etc. Those who wish patterns are asked to bring plain typing paper and carbon paper and those who wish to make toys are to bring print scraps, cot ton for stuffing and sewing equip ment. Everyone having patterns for toys is asked to bring them. All women in the community who are Interested in this toy making are invited to attend. EAST DOUGLAS UNIT TO MEET WEDNESDAY The East Douglas Home Exten sion unit' will meet Wednesday. Nov. 14, at 10:30 a.m. at the South Deer Creek Grange hall. The busi ness meeting and a program on "Program Planning" will take place in the morning. A potluck luncheon will be held at noon and those attending are asked to bring their table service. In the afternoon a aemonstration o n "Party Planning", will be given by Mrs. McKibben and Mrs. Up degrave. The new officers for the coming year were elected as follows: Lloyd Harvey, president; Ray Ames, vice president; Irene Ames, secretary and Fred Broszio, treasurer. Plans were made to hold a reg ular monthly meeting the first Sunday in every month with a potluck dinner preceding the meeting. She got a temporary eye and will return the 1st of March for another opera tion and an implant will be put in. At that time she will get her permanent eye. Mrs. John Cabot underwent ma jor surgery at the Community Hospital Tuesday morning. She was reported to be getting along satisfactorily.
