Annual reports were given by outgoing officers and Mrs. Stella Spencer and Mrs. Laura lies, co chairmen for the state convention held in Roseburg last month, made their final convention report. A candlelight formal installation of new officers for the year 1951 52 was held with Miss V. Vivian Logsdnn acting as installing offi cer. Miss Logsdon installed and presented with corsages the fol lowing: Mrs. Mildred Herman as president, Mrs. Priscilla Claren- ' bach, first vice president: Mrs.: Edith Landis. second vice presi- . dent; Mrs. Virginia Ashcraft, re- i cording secretary; Mrs. Kdythe Gilmour. treasurer, and Mrs. Flos sie Virden, corresponding secre tary. Mrs. Ann Storrs was in stalled as Sgt at - arms by proxie, Mrs. Gladys Foley filling in for her. Mrs. Virden was presented with a lovely gift by Mrs. Herman on behalf of the out. going officers and Mrs. Virden in turn presented her out-going officers with very pretty and unique corsages. Pulley was the In spiration for a luncheon recently when Mrs. Don Shepherd enter tained in honor of her birthday an niversary. The party was held at the Shepherd home in Winston. Large bouquets of rosea from the garden were used about the rooms and as a centerpiece for the serv ing table. Following the salad luncheon an appropriately decorated birthday cake was cut in Mrs. Pulley's honor and gifts were presented. The remaining afternoon hours were spent in laying canasta. High score was won by Mrs. Norman Slack with low score going to Mrs. Henry Nickel. Those present, besides the hostess and the honored guest were: Mrs. Norma Slack. Mrs. Art Griese, Mrs. Howard Bird. ALFRED ANDERSON COMPLIMENTED AT BIRTHDAY AFFAIR FRIDAY Mrs. Alfred Anderson was hon ored at a charming one - thirty o'clock dessert-luncheon and party honoring her birthday Friday and given by Mrs. A.
