INSTALLATION OF
OFFICERS TO BE HELD
BY JUNIOR WOMAN'S CLUB
The Junior Woman's c-lub will
hold annual installation of officers
at a meeting planned for Tuesday
night at eight o'clock at the Epis
copal parish hall.
Members of the Senior Woman's
club ar? invited as special guests,
airs. Robert Green will be installed
as president lor her second year
as head of the organization.
GARDEN VALLEY WOMAN'S
CLUB IS ENTERTAINED
THURSDAY AFTERNOON
The Garden Valley Woman's club
met Thursday with Mrs. C. I..
Spray and Mrs. U. F. McLaughlin
co-hostess.
Announcement was made of the
Garden Valley graduation exercise
on May 25 at the Garden Valley
clubhouse.
It was decided to have a potluck
picnic the last day of school, June
1. at 12:30 at the school play

a visit in Sweden this summer.

stead of tonight. The meeting will

CLERGYMAN DIES
PORTLAND (At The Rev.
Francis H. Ball, Episcopal clergy
man, died at his home here Fri
day. He had recently resigned as
vicar of St. Barnabas Mission,
Multnomah. Previously he was
pastor of St. Lukes church at
Greats Pass from 1943-1948. Other
churches he served were at Bend,
Portland, Seaside, Tillamook, Me
Minnville and Monmouth.
