Fosbaclc of Dillard. The bride-elect attended Roseburg Senior high school, graduating with the class of 1950. She is now employed at the Dillard school as secretary. The bridegroom-elect is in the medical corps of the U.S. Navy, stationed at Oale Knoll hospital, Oakland, Calif. He formerly attended Roseburg high school. No date has been set for the wedding. Mr. and Mrs. Louise Elliott and family are moving into the home formerly occupied by the Norman Krantzcs. The Tiller-Drew P.T.A. will hold a March of Dimes dance in the school gymnasium Jan. 20. Plans for the dance were made at the organization's regular meeting Tuesday evening. The P.T.A. also voted to hold a Valentine dance Feb. 17, at the school house. Miss Thelma Kennedy, secretary at the Dillard school, returned Wednesday from a 10-day vacation trip to Berkeley, Calif., where she visited her cousin and family. She also visited other friends in the bay area. Mrs. Nila Crnteau has estab lished a self-service laundry at her home, located in the Ford's sub division. She has installed new washing and drying equipment for customers using the new service. Mr. anil Mrs. E. O. Nickerson and Roger, were dinner guests on Saturday evening at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Boh Austin of North Myrtle creek. Alex Hayes and son, Harry, en route to their home in Glendale, spent Tuesday night at the R. L. Harrison home. Hayes is Mrs. Har rison's brother. On Sunday Senator and Mrs. Thomas Parkinson motored to Sa lem for the opening sessions of the 1951 legislature. After visiting in Pacific Beach 1 and Modesto, Calif., Mr. and Mrs. Archie Wilson arc enjoying a va-; cation in Mexico. The couple left here on Dec. 26 and plan to re turn home via San Francisco about Fob. 1.
