The offer was not accepted, he said, in the hope that such a course would prevent involvement of the vorld in a Third World' War. Weyforth Dies At Oakland John Emmanuel Weyforth, 68, died at his borne at Oakland this morning after a long illness. He w5 born in Baltimore, Md., Nov. 18, 1884 and has been a resident of Oakland for many years. He v as well known in the vicinity an l was a painter by trade.
