Marie Orr, 21, Mr. Betty Corri gin, 23. and Mri. Rillie Ruth Mc Nahb, 27, were sentenced by Judge Ben C. Willard followin( their con virtion last week. , It took a til-man criminal court jury only 24 minutes to convict Miss Orr and Mrs. Corri sin of grand larceny and Mrs. McNabb of helping the -iris remove stolen money from the Southern Bell IVlephone company. The trio is part of JJ persons indicted in connection with the theft of telephone company coins from the room in which money from pay stations was counted. Last week the girls and eight others were ordered to dig up nearly $2S.ooo for the telephone company. All cash, savings bonds, securities, automobiles and other personal property were seiied as payment to the company.
