J 'Hprt''H iff Jj 1 1 w"" tfutkaj Mr. and Mrs. Raynor Click Miss Marian Eickhoff, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. William Eick hoff, became the bride of Raynor Clack, son of Mr. and Mrs. James Clack, at noon Saturday at St. Paul's Lutheran church in Rose burg. Rev. W. A. Sylwesler per formed the double ring ceremony with Miss Marian Verrel and Bob Yonker as attendants. The bride was attractive in a white dress trimmed with broad bands of fine lace. A wedding reception followed at the home of the bride on North Myrtle road, Myrtle Creek. Bou quets of garden flowers and white crepe-paper streamers with a large white wedding bell suspen ded from the ceiling formed the decorations. Refreshments were served. The cake was cut by Mrs. Bill Bulmer. Assisting with ser ving were M r s. C. E. Crockett, Mrs.. Orin Thompson, Mrs. Ralph Johnson and Mrs. Oliver Johnson. The guest book was in charge of Lavina Wallace. Orchid corsages were worn by the mothers of the bridal couple. The bride's bouquet was caught by Jean Ashley. For traveling the bridd chose a navy blue suit. Her corsage was of gardenias. The couple left on a honeymoon in a new Mercury car. Out-of-town guests were Miss Jerry Brozsie of Roseburg, Mr. and Mrs. Robert Eickhoff, Co quille, and Richard Hackenberg Grants Pass. Guests included a large number of relatives and friends of the couple. MR AND MRS. BLANK CELEBRATE SILVER WEDDING ANNIVERSARY , A surprise party honoring Mr. and Mrs. Reinhold Blank on, their twenty-fifth wedding anniversary was held June 29th in the evening at their home in Lookmgglass. Lovely gifts were presented to the guests of honor from Mr. and Mrs. Floyd Wilson, Mr. and Mrs. Lloyd Lindsey, Mr. and Mrs. 0. H. SUTHERLIN COUPLE l MARRY JULY 2ND Frank Riemenschneider and Ly la Chenoweth, both of Sutherlin, were quietly united in marriage at noon, July 2, at the lovely home of Mayor and Mrs. Henry Cook in the presence of only a few friends and relatives. Mr. and Mrs. Cook attended the couple and the marriage service was read by Judge Ward Watson. The rooms Were tastefully decorated with summer Uowers. The bride was given in marriage by her son,. Thomas Chenoweth. Following the ceremony, the parly enjoyed a chicken dinner served at the Del Rey Inn at Win chester. Those present were Mr. and Mrs. C. R. Smith of Rose burg, Mr. and Mrs. Arthur Cor rell and children, Mickey and Burt, Mr. and Mrs. Henry Cook a n d Thomas Chenoweth. The couple are well-known i n Sutherlin having resided here for a number of years, Mrs. Riemen schneider having been employed for a number of years in the local postoffice and Mr. Riemenschnei der owning and operating a hard ware store. The couple will spend their honeymoon traveling i n Washington with their trailer and will spend the balance of t n e summer at the Winchester Trailer park. They plan to leave in the fall for the south where they will spend the winter traveling in Cal ifornia, Arizona and Old Mexico. MR. AND MRS. Mrs. Bell added to the evening's entertain ment by playing two piano selec tions. The Bells left Sunday for Port land to take the plane for the east. They were accompanied by Mr. and Mrs. W. W. Willis, who remained in Portland for a few days to visit.
