Mrs. M. C. Cassel was chairman of the affair. Roses, lilies and blue bells formed the decorations for the candlelightcd table. Covers were placed for the two guests of honor and Mrs. Roy Hei ner of Spokane, a guest, Mrs. Earl M. Bletle, preiident, Mrs. 0. M. Berrie, Mrs. Guy Cordon, Mrs. Roy Catching. Mrs. Carl E. PAT JANNELLI IS INSPIRATION FOR CHARMING SHOWER Mrs. Pat Jannclli Jr. was hon ored with a lovely pink and blue shower Tuesday afternoon at the home of her mother, Mrs. Pat Jan nelli in Lookingglass. Mrs. Homer Elliott, Mrs. Roy Buell and Mrs. Corvin Heard were hostesses for the affiar. The gifts were placed in a dainty bassinett centering a lace-covered table, which was also enhanced with a stork and figur ine flower holders. Bouquets of seasonal flowers were used about the rooms. Games and visiting were enjoyed during the atternoon and the gifts were opened by Mrs. Jannclli. HAS INTERESTING MEETING TUESDAY AFTERNOON Mrs. H. D. Scott and Mrs. E. E. Maurer were hostesses to the Gar den department of the Roseburg Woman's club Tuesday at a de lightful luncheon in the garden at the home of the former on Mel rose road. A report was made on the re cent successful rose show sponsor ed by the Woman's club and Mrs. J. M. Boyles reported on the rose festival and rose show held in Port land. Those present were Mrs. en neth Ford, president, Mrs. J. M. Boyles, Mrs. Otho Gosnell, Mrs. Earl M. Bleile, Mrs. Harry F. Hatfield, Mrs. Foster Butner, Mrs. R. A. Vocller and the two host esses. The July 25th meeting will be held at a twelve-thirty o'clock pot luck luncheon at the home of Mrs. Ford with Mrs. Voeller as co-hostess. Those attending are asked to bring their table service and are also asked to bring fuchsias and tuberous begonias for the dis cussion topic of the afternoon. Plans will be for future meetings of the club.
