Mrs. Jack Rogers presided at the ceremony and presented the pins to Mrs. Bill Turner, Mrt. Kclsey Hobday, Jr., Mist Euarda WcsUund and Mist Mary Ann Caskey. New officer! were Installed by the outgoing president, Mrs. Rogert.. Serving for the coming year will he Mrs. Bill Benson, president; Mrt. Richard Gadway, vice president; Mrti Don Caskey, corresponding tecretary; Mrs. Lyle yuist, recording secretary and Mrs. Ronald Oilar, treasurer. Completing their term of office were Mrt. Rogert, president; Miss Nancy Lehman, corresponding and recording secretary and Mrs. Bill Benson, treasurer. Dinner was served at 6:30 p.m. The tables were decorated In sorority colors, blue and gold, with a centerpiece of sweet peas. Each pledge was given a carnation corsage . I'hr brand of Astoria were married Sunday, April 16, in a four o'clock afternoon wedding ceremony at the home of the bride's parents, Mr. and Mrs. Liston A. Darby, on North Fifth street. The bridegroom is the son of Mrs. Gertrude Uhrbrand of Astoria.. .Baskets filled with Easter lilies, pink and yellow snapdragons and carnations were used together with lighted candles in candelabra. The I Rev. LeRoy Crossley, pastor of First Baptist Church at Spring field, officiated at the double ring ceremony and Mrs. Guy Lee played "Because" as a piano solo. The bride, who was given in marriage by her father, wore a navy suit with matching shoes and a chartreuse and white hat. Her flowers were strphanotis and or i chids carried with a white Bible. I Miss Mary Peterson of Roseburg I was maid of honor. She also wore j a navy suit with flower-trimmed navy hat and navy shoes. Mrs. ' Claude Ludwig and Miss Mae Shu- 1 ford were the candlclighters. Mr. Ludwig was the best man and the usher was L. Carlyle Darby, broth er of the bride. For the reception which followed the ceremony. She is a member of Epsilon Sigma Alpha business sorority. Mr. Chrbrand is a student at the university and will be graduated in June in busi ness administration.
