Howard Carnes reported on various agricul tural subjects. Cecil Denny an" nounced a meeting held at the V. K. Holcomb farm the afternoon of April 2$ for a demonstration of extermination of moles and other farm pests. Home Economic chairman, Em ma Madison, reported on the last club meeting. She appointed Rita Doran, Harold M inter. Charles and Bernice Solomon to serve refresh ments at the next grange meet ing. May 13. The officers voted to put on the first and second degrees at the second meeting in May. Lecturer Francis Carnes put on the program consisting of a song, two skits, a reading and a ques tionnaire. Master Darlene Madison presid ed over Kellogg Juvenile Grange meeting April 22. len members were present, with Patron Eldon Fisher and Assistant Leona Madi son. After grange they attended the subordinate lecturer's program and then played ping pong. projects carried on by Adventists around the world. The funds received this year will supplement the $136.84 per capita which church members gave last year to carry Christianity to the world through educational, evange listic, and medical missionary work, it is announced. "In our shrinking world. Amer ica cannot afford to ignore the forces which threaten freedom in other lands," pastor Hartnell de clared. "Acquainting peoples of the world with the iove-thy-neighbor-as-thyself mode of life is not only good religion) it is intelligent world planning."
