Annexation Plan
To Be Discussed
Residents of East Roseburg and
others interested are invited to
attend a meeting Wednesday at
7:30 p.m. in the city council cham
bers. The purpose is to discuss
the various phases of the East
Roseburg annexation election and
what may be expected if the area
is admitted to the city.
Everyone interested, either is
favor or against the annexation, is
invited totatlend. representatives
from West Roseburg and the city
of Roseburg will be present to an
swer questions pertaining to the
proposed annexation.
The election will take place in
Esst Roseburg Friday, Feb. 17.
With the selection of an election
board and the location of the place
of voting, everything is in readi
ness, according to City MANAGER

Wounding Of Infant
KLAMATH FALLS, Feb.

held today on a charge of as
sault with a deadly weapon in tha
wounding of a 21-month-old boy.
The child was struck by one of
three bullets that came through
a ceiling Saturday night.
Police said the child was not
seriously hurt, but suffered a flesh
wound of the thigh while asleep
in his crib. The infant is a son of
Mr. and Mrs. Cecil Tucker.
Investigation by police indicated

bullets out of a window of a sec
ond floor apartment overlooking t
first floor portion of the same
building. The bullets crashed
