Marriage vows, which were said nineteen years ago by the bride's parents, were repeated in a double ring cere mony performed by candlelight by Rev. William Sutterlin of the First Baptist church In the. pres ence of 200 guests. ' : Tall baskets tf vhlte snapdrag ons and four candelabra holding tall .white tapers flanked the cross centering the altar. The bride, given in marriage by her father, was beautiful in a gown of ice blue heavy slipper satin fashioned with a lace bib front with the back trimmed in satin buttons. The sleeves came to a point at the wrists and were edged in matching lace. The Queen Elizabeth collar Of the gown matched the Queen's cap of lsce which held the veil of illu sion edged in lace. She carried a heart-shaped arrangement of three orchids outlined with ma line ruffling with satin stream ers knotted with lilies-of-the-val-ley. The bride and her attend ants wore rhinestone necklaces. Miss Nancy Radabaugh, Rose burg, and a student at University of Oregon, was maid of honor and wore a gown of orchid satin fashioned with a full skirt and off-the3houlder ruffle, decorated with a black velvet bow and streamers from the neckline to the floor-length hem of the skirt. MR. AND MRS. BAILEY HONOR CRENSHAWS AT FAREWELL PARTY Mr. and Mrs. Henry Bailey en tertained at an eight o'clock buf fet supper Wednesday evening at their beautiful new home in North Roseburg to honor Mr. and Mrs. Clyde Crenshaw, who with their three children, Carol, Steve and Michael, left Thursday for Medford to reside. Yellow button chrysanthemums and matching yellow tapers formed the attractive decora tions. Cards were in play during the social hours. A lovely farewell gift was pre sented to Mr. and Mrs. Cren shaw from: Mr. and Mrs. Claude Wright, Mr, and Mrs. Amos Min er, Mr. and Mrs. James Stone, Mr. and Mrs. Robert Nazelrod, Mr. and Mrs. Lloyd Crenshaw, Mr. and Mrs. Ehard Johnson and the host and hostess, Mr. and Mrs. Bailey. LADY LIONS HEAR MRS. CLAUDE BAKER DISCUSS WELFARE WORK Mrs. Claude Baker discussed county welfare work at the meet ing of Lady Lions Monday, Jan. 9 at Carl's Haven. Dinner pre ceded the regular business ses sion with Mrs. Buckley Bell, pre sident in charge. Hostesses for the evening were Mrs. Phil Sutton. Mrs. David Campbell and Mrs. Robert N. Browning and Pat Bates was a guest. Six women were initiat ed: Mrs. C. M. Saar, Mrs. Zeke Walton, Mrs. R. R. Parsons. Mrs. L W. Lowe, Mrs. George Foster and Mrs. Frank Purdy. Mrs. Howard' Low ery, Independence, Ore., a cousin of the bride, were bridesmaids and wore pink satin gowns de signed to match the maid of hon or's. They wore rosebud and ma line headbands and carried bou quets to match the maid of hon or's. Mary Melinda Levens, age two, and her brother, Larry- Levens Jr., both of Cottage Grove were flower girl 1 and ring-bearer e spectlvely. Mary Melinda wore a floor-length gown of lavender satin trimmed in white lace. Her headdress was pink rosebuds and lavender maline and she carried a flower basket filled with lavender-colored rose petals. David Andrlesian was- best man for his brother and Albert Martin, Cottage Grove, and John M a r vl n- Robertson, Roseburg, cousin of the bride, were ushers. The bride's mother wore a wa termelon colored suit with a pale beige-colored hat and blouse. Her accessories were black and she wore a corsage of gold-colored rosebuds. The bridegroom's mother wore a navy blue dress with matching accessories and a gold rosebud corsage. Mrs. E. C. Diller, of Aurora, Ore., aunt of the bride, was or ganist. W. C. Martin Jr., of Cot tage Grove, sang "Because", "At Dawning," and "The Lord's Prayer." The wedding music was also the same as used for the bride's parents nineteen years activities were the Mesdames J. P. Motschenbacher, Frank Pur dy, Keith Phillips, C. M. Saar, Earl Henry, Phil Sutton, Joseph Wikoff, Ross Newcomb, Wm. Livermore. Frank Long, Forrest Losee, Phil Harth, Zeke Walton, L. M. GRAND ROYAL OFFICERS VISIT DOUGLAS COURT ON FRIDAY EVENING Following a short business meeting of Douglas Court No. 18, Order of Amaranth, the Grand Royal Matron, Honored Lady Edna Manning of Salem, and Grand Royal Patron Sir Knight, Earl Beeson, Eugene, paid a vis it. They were accompanied by Honored Lady, Cleo Beeson. During the social hour a sur prise pink and blue shower was given Honored Lady, Helen Han ford and a gift was also pre sented to Dr. Roy Hanford. The gifts were brought in the room in a decorated carriage by Sally Stanley. The refreshment table was decorated with pink and blu crepe-paper streamers and the favors were tiny dolls dressed in pastel colors. The refreshment committee In cluded Honored Ladies: Lola Stanley, Ella Thorp, Verna Tay lor, Betty Sevall and Betty Far iss. The next regular meeting will be February 3 at eight o'clock at the Masonic temple. ALLEN Of Bride's Parents Y Picture by Fehly Studio, Eugene A reception followed in the church parlors. Mrs; C. W; Clark and Mrs. John William -Robertson, both of Roseburg, and aunts of the bride, arrd Mrs. Donn Rad abaugh, also, of Roseburg,' serv ed. The lace-covered bride's table was centered with a large plate glass mirror holding the tiered wedding cake circled with rose buds and fern. The cake was flanked by sterling silver cande labra holding tall white tapers. The silver coffee service was at one end of the table and the punch bowl at the opposite end. Large baskets of mixed flowers were used about the room. For traveling the bride chose a pale pink suit with cocoa brown hat, brown accessories and a tree-green top coat. Following a honeymoon to points north, Mr. and Mrs. Andrlesian are now at home to their friends near Drain. The bride attended schools in Roseburg until her sophonvre year in Senior High, when she moved to Cottage Grove with her parents. She was graduated from High School in Cottage Grove and since that time has been employ ed by her parents in Clark's pho to studio In that city. Attending the ceremony from Roseburg were Mrs. C. W. W.B.A. HAS FINE MEETING AT BRIDGESS HOME ON THURSDAY The Woman's Benefit associa tion met Thursday afternoon at the home of Mrs. Veldeen Brid gess on Sunset lane. Mrs. Brld gess was elected president of the association review. A fine attend ance enjoyed the business meet ing and social hour. Mrs. Brid gess served lovely refreshments. The next meeting will be Jan uary 26th at two o'clock and will be in the form of a social and card party. Each member is ask ed to bring a guest. The party will be at the home of Mrs. HuEh Wells on Fullerton street with her daughter, Mrs. Carl Havens, as sisting hostess. The February 23rd meeting will be a potluck luncheon and card party for members and guests at the home of Mrs. V, T. Jackson at Winchester. PINOCHLE CLUB ENJOYS MEETING AT HESS RESIDENCE Mrs. Norman Hess entertained her pinochle club at her home Wednesday evening with dessert supper followed by an evening of cards. Daphne formed the cen terpiece for the service tables. Honored at the affair was Mrs. Bob Davis who received a birthday gift from the group. JOSEPH'S ALTAR SOCIETY ENJOYS EVENING AT DOMENICO RESIDENCE Mrs. Sidney Domenlco enter tained the January meeting Cii cle No. 2, St. Joseph's Altar So ciety at her home on the Garden Valley road. Plans were made during the business session for a social evening early in February. The group enjoyed several games and prizes were awarded by the hostess. ANNUAL CAMP FIRE COUNCIL MEETING TO BE HELD JAN. 30 The annual meeting of Rose burg Camp Fire council is sche duled for Monday, January 30 at the First Methodist church at 8 p.m. At that time reports will be heard from standing council committees reviewing the pro gress and activities of the organ ization during the past year. Of ficers will also be introduced. Mrs. Ray Lehman Is in charge of decorations; Mrs. Harry Bru- baker, refreshments and Mrs. Harold Hoyt, program. Invitation have been issued to council members, sponsors and guardians and others inter ested in the vouth organization. This is a public meeting and omers may auena.
