The pacers today are full of
"Doug" McKay's appointment of
"Sap Latourette to a seat on the

This is a popular appointment by
our governor, and a merited ad

Gosh, that was in '09 throueh

A young attorney took over for

an orator already, although just
fresh out of college. He must
have been good because Oregon
came from behind and tied it up
10-10. This was the fall of 1913.
The talker in the barn was none
other than our new Supreme Jus

In the stands that 'day was
Douglas McKay a stater fresh

We like to remember, too,
when on the trains for; the Big

improvised quartets, harmonizing

"The Days at Oreeon."

Doug McKay was always In

Governor McKay of Oregon,
this reporter surely thinks you
"hit the jackpot" when you se
