Mrs. Marvin Doty entertained the T.N.T. club at her home Tuesday with Mrs. Morris Burk hart as co-hostess. Canasta was played with Mrs. Howard Marsh, Mrs. Bruce Lattin and Mrs. Bob White holding high scores. Low score prizes were won by Mrs. Alf Smith, Mrs. Bob Keefe and Mrs. Wm. McCollum. Bean, and the host esses. 1 (RIFLE RANGE SEWING CLUB ENJOYS MEETING AT HITES RESIDENCE f Fifteen members of the Rifle , Range Sewing club met with Mil 4 dred Hites January 10 for a short meeting followed by sewing and games. Marian Wilson and Vir ginia Brittain won prizes. The next meeting of the club will be Tuesday, Jan.' 24 at the ' home of Edna Scofield. This will be an all-day meeting with pot luck luncheon at noon. Chadwick street with the charter members as hos tesses including: Mrs. Beckley, Mrs. Beth Boyer, Mrs. Alma and Mrs. Lora Kester. Mrs. Kester was the first pre sident of the club and is presi dent again in the thirtieth year of the club. SMITH Bad weather forced the delay of the installation of the newly elected officers of the Elkton Oddfellow and Rebekah lodges until Jan. 21. Telephone service and electri cal service has been frequently interrupted because . of the stormy weather. At the recent meeting of the Elkton city council the outstand ing bills were ordered paid. The council Is still marking time un til the property in the city can be re-assessed this year. Plans for a 'garbage pickup are being discussed. Mrs. James Gates and her two small daughters have been vaca tioning with a sister in Ralner, wasn. Mrs. Arthur Mode and Mrs. Lester Riley and children, Bruce and Dixie, are visiting witn Mr. and Mrs. Jake Sawyers at San Francisco, caul, Mrs. Lidla Palmer and son.
