Included among the top bands to be heard are Guy Lombardo, Ray McKiniey, Hal Maclntyre and Ray Anthony. At 11:55, the Mutual "mike" takes you directly to Times Square, New York for New Year's festivities there. On Sunday, January 1, "Th Adventures of the Falcon" makes a New Year's debut on KRNR. Mike "The Falcon" Waring will resolve to leave "No Stone Unturned." And that's unheard of for him. For this Drexel Drake-created tictional adventure-hero normally has eyes only for op pressed men and repressed women and usually acci dentally falls Into the adventure situations which face him every Sunday afternoon. But now and forevermore Mike ' Waring vows to pay more attention to the dark corners in which underworld characters lurk. He promises, though, to still devote most of his attention to following the care free, romance-seeking course which the novelist originally created for him. Leading "Falcon" roles are taken by Les Damon and Mercedes McCambridge. Franz Lehar's de lightful musical romance, "The Merry Widow," will be adapted for "Chicago Theater of the Air" Sunday night at 10. Soprano Nancy Carr, tenor David Poleri and bari tone Earl Wllkie will be co-starred In the major singing roles. The annua lntersectlonal 'Gator Bowl football classic will be broadcast exclusively over Mutual-Don Lee and KRNR on Mon day, January 2. This year's game will pit the fighting Tigers of the University of Missouri against the formidable Old Liners of the University of Maryland. Game time: 10:45 a. m. to conclusion.
