CAMP FIRE GIRLS ELECT NEW OFFICERS Cantewasteya Camp Fire gills met at Winchester school Wed nesday and elected officers. The group has had a flyup ceremony for the Winchester Blue Birds and Mrs. Elizabeth Gibson gave a talk on symbols. Oct. 20 Frank True opened the meeting In the absence of offi cers. Community singing was followed by a program arranged by Mrs. Gertrude Hunter, Mrs. Amundson and Mrs. Fisher. Mrs. Hunter and her daughter, Carol Ann played a duet followed by Suzanne and Patricia McClel Ion singing two numbers accom panied by Mr. Corey. Guitar mu sic by Mr. Hill with Mrs. Hunter at the piano followed. A dance will be held at the building October 29 with Jack Foster and his hand providing music. The public Is invited to Inspect the new hall on Grape avenue in Winston. A social hour closed the evening. HALLOWE'EN PLANNED AT PARTY GRANGE A Hallowe'en masquerade Is scheduled Saturday night at 8 p.m. at the Glide Grange hall. F.veryone is welcome. Some were in costumes of witches, ghosts and pumpkins. The meeting room was deco tated In a Hallowe'en motif. Th Camp Fire Girls made the pro grams for the coming year. The theme of Dillard association Is "Expansion P.T.A." A record crowd of 1.58 adults attended. A social hour closed the meeting.
