By J. R. Williams Conspiracy Count Pressed At Trial Of Medical Group PORTLAND. Oct. 21. Pv The government attempted to plans as long ago as 1936. Minutes of a Multnomah Coun ty Medical Society hearing of that year were placed In evidence by the government In Its anti-trust suit against the Slate Medical so ciety and allied groups. That was the hearing, govern-' ment attorneys said, in which Dr. Chenter C. Moore was charged with violating the American Med ical association's code of ethics. Moore previously testified that he was forced to resign from the medical society because he was president of the Industrial Hos pital association, which had a pre paid medical care plan. The minutes said that Moore' association was charged with vio lating ethics by snliicting patients through advertilsng and by tend ing to discourage the free choice of physician. In other testimony for the gov ernment, witnesses said their pre- paid medical systems ran Into op- position of doctors who would not accept their patients. One witness, Ralph Furrer, for merly with the National Hospital association, said his firm lost sub scriber because of the difficulty. The government charges that the medical societies set up the Oregon Physicians Service, and that this pre-paid medical plan became monopolistic. In 1849. the V.
