Back From Vacation Mr. and Mrs. Lewis Wilson have return ed to their respective positions at the Roseburg Pharmacy and the Rosebure Book store, loiiow- ing a month's vacation visiting relatives and friends in various parts of Minnesota. Cau thorn (former Beulah Jewett) is remaining in Roseburg for a longer visit witn relatives and friends. Her husband left this morning for San Francisco, where he is publisher of the San Fran cisco News. Mrs. Cauthorn was formerly society editor of the News-Review. Mr, Cauthorn was accompanied back to San Fran Cisco by Worth Davis of Roseburg. Leave For Home Mr. and Mrs. Elmer Dent and children, Barry and Nita, left this morning for their home in Astoria, following a visit since Saturday in Roseburg with Mr. Dent's parents, Mr. and Mrs. J. Former Resident Leave Mrs. Delia Hutchings has returned to her home in Portland, following a visit in Medford with her daugh ter, Mrs. Doreen Wells, and in Roseburg with relatives and friends. While here, she visited at the home of Mrs. Paul Blaskey on Rowe Street. She was taken hack to Portland by automobile by her grandson, Harold Walton, of Roseburg. Mrs. Hutchings for merly made her home here. Visit at Hickerson Home Mr. and Mrs. M. A. Horand of Port land spent the weekend holiday in Roseburg as guests of Mr. and Mrs. Harold Hickerson on South Kane street. Mr. Horand is a director and past president of the Oregon State Nurserymen's As sociation. He is owner of the Park Rose Nursery and recently was awarded the contract for landscaping all streets fronting the highway in Portland. Class to Meet The Mid-Week Bible Class of St. Paul's Lutheran Church will meet Thursday at 2 o'clock at the parish hall with Mrs. E. W. Carter and Mrs. W. A. Sylwester, co-hostesses. The topic, "The Sacrament of the Lord's Supper," will be under the direc tion of the pastor, Rev. W. A. Svlwester. Plans will be made for the Mission Rally and Sunday School picnic to be' held July 24 at the Veterans Hospital picnic grounds. All members and friends are most cordially invited to auend the meeting.
