Mr. Slope has been attending the col lege for the last year. AZALEA H. E. C. HAS MEETING ON THURSDAY A potluck luncheon was held by the Azalea Home Economics Club Thursday at the grange hall. Covers were placed for Mrs. Glenora Tanner, Mrs. Grace New man, Mrs. Loot a Rife, Mrs. Anna Scott, Mrs. Mina Johnson, Mrs. Sylvia Jantzer, Mrs. Violet Fore man and Mrs. Betty Lovell. Mrs. Glenora Tanner conduct ed the business meeting. Various committees were appointed for the bazaar to he held Sept. 25, at the Rrange hall. Members are asked to bring fancy work and articles for the fish pond for the bazaar. The public is Invited to attend the affair. SUNSHINE CLUB HAS INTERESTING MEETING SATURDAY The Azalea Sunshine Club met Saturday afternoon at the picnic grounds of Mrs. Jim Croff on Cow Creek with Mrs. Esther Worley assisting hostess. Visiting was enjoyed and a delicious pic nic lunch was served to Mrs. Bina Fisher. Mrs. Mildred Booth. Mrs. Frankie Schroeder, Mrs. Augusta Feldmlller. ' MELROSE GRANGE HAS MEETING TUESDAY NIGHT The officers of the Melrose Grange presented a program at the regular meeting Tuesday night. Miss Helen Busenbark gave a most Interesting talk on the people, customs and her ex periences while In Korea. She re cently returned from an 18 months stay there, where she was employed by the U. S. Army of occupation. She showed a num ber of articles which she had brought back and also showed a group of colored picture slides which she took while there. Arnold Patterson sang two solos accompanied by his guitar. Margaret Adeline announced that a potluck luncheon at one o'clock would be held Sept. 15 by the Home Economics Club out. doors at the C. E.
