Wofford, daugh ter of Mr. and Mrs. D. A. Coop er of Cottage Grove, became the bride of Earl Everett rraser, ne phew of T. C. Eraser, of Suther lin. Rev. James Brinks, of Oak land, Ore., performed the Im pressive ceremony in the pres ence of relatives and a few close friends. Gladioli and roses and tall ca thedral candles decorated the al tar. Miss Joyce Sheffel, who was "Miss Roseburg." of 1948, sang, "1 love You Truly" accompanied by Mrs. Mabel Ross at the piano. Mrs. Ross played the Bridal Chorus from Lohengren for the bridal party to take its place at the allar. The bride, given In marriage by her father, was beautiful in a floor-length gown of white crepe with panlers overskirt at the waistline. Her finger-tip veil was held in place with a head dress of orange blossoms. She carried a cascade bouquet of white gladioli and rosebuds cent ered with a large orchid and tied with a shower of white satin ribbons. Mrs. John Killop, vice president, also tendered her resignation and this vacancy will be filled at the next meeting of the association. Mcljiughlln were honored last Sunday at their home In Garden Valley on their 40th wedding anniver sary when members of their fam ily and friends gathered for a picnic luncheon. Among those present for the occasion were Mrs. McLaughlin's parents, Mr. and Mrs. J. I- Cssebeer, who celebrated their 63rd anniver sary a year ago. The McLaughlins are members of a pioneer family of this part of Oregon and have resided here since their marriage. Mr. Mc laughlin Is employed with the fire patrol and has been asso ciated for years with the U. S. and State Forest Services. Elliott of Roseburg announce the mar riage of their daughter. Norma Jean, to Earl Paul Oden, Jr., son of Mr. and Mrs. Earl P. Oden, Sr., of Roseburg. The ceremony was performed Saturday morning. August 21, at Redmond, Ore., and only the necessary attendants were present. Following a honeymoon to Ne vada, the couple will make their nome in Bend, ore. The bride was graduated from Roseburg Senior High School In June and nas since been employed at the Veterans Hospital. The bride groom is a student of Roseburg fieninr nign &cnooi. ROTARY ANNS ENJOY NO-HOSTESS LUNCHEON MEETING ON THURSDAY The Rotary Anns enjoyed a no hostess luncheon meeting at the Rose Hotel Thursday noon with Mrs. Anna May Hoyt giving a fine report on the Camp Fire Girls' new camp at Tyee. She re. ported 22 groups, consisting of 300 members attended the camp. There are 10 new group, being organized. Mrs. Hoyt stated that present needs include sponsors,' group leaders, housing and re frigeration and money for camp equipment.
