Malheur County to Have , Longest Pheasant Season PORTLAND, July 30. IJP Malheur County will have Ore gon's longest pheasant hunting season nine and a half days this faH. The Associated Press earlier erroneously listed Malheur wilh the counties In which the season is closed. The Malhaur season opens Oct. 29 at noon and runs through Nov. 7. The daily limit is two cocks and the season limit is six. There Is no open season In Jef ferson, Wallowa, Union, Baker, Curry, Lincoln and Tillmook counties.
