She was honored at several lunch eons and picnics and a dinner was given for her at Knotts Berry Farm, one of Southern Califor nia's show places. Mrs. Hecathom reports she Is glad to be back In Roseburg. Iowa Visitors Hsre Mr. and Mrs. W. E. Williams and two children, Kenyth and Izola, of Clarinda, la., are visiting Mrs. Williams' sister, Mrs. Dewey Burwell at Canyonvllle. From Douglas Countv, they will go to Fort Ord, Calif., to visit PFC Malvin Burwell. They will visit other relatives In California and will return home via the southern route. Lsava on Vacation Mr. and Mrs. Jerome F. Sheldon and small son, Stephen, of Roseburg left this morning for Bandon to enjoy their two weeks vacation at Laurel Grove. They will be Joined there by Mrs. Sheldon's brother-in-law and sister. Dr. and Mrs. Ronald A. He then attended Oregon State College, where he received a degree In electrical engineering. A securities broker and partner in the firm of E. M. Adams and Co., Hawn has served on the Eugene city council since Janu ary, 1941. when he was appoint ed to replace Fred C. Carlson In the first ward. At present, he is president of the council and mid way in his second elective term as one of the first ward's two rep resentatives.
