Benefit Card Party Ever green Grange will sponsor a ben efit card party at 8 o'clock Sat urday night, April 3, at the hall. Prizes will be awarded winners of high scores in the card plays. A door prize will also be given and refreshments will be served. The public is invited. Meeting Cancelled The United Workers Class meeting scheduled for Friday of this week has been cancelled indefinitely on account of the death of F. I. Perry, whose funeral will be held Friday af ternoon. She is employed at The Style Shop. On Crutches Earl Lander of Roseburg, who suffered serious injuries in a tractor accident a year ago, is now able to be out on crutches. Back to Work Miss Dolma Grobe has returned to her work at the Style Shop, following an illness of several days at her home In Roseburg. Return to Corvallls Mr. and Mrs. Thomas Marshall have re turned to their home In Corval lis, following a short visit in Roseburg with the former's par ents, Dr. and Mrs. G. W. Marshall. Attending to Business Mr. and Mrs. Edward B. Row of Rose burg are spending several davs in Portland and Seattle attend ing to business. Mrs. Row is owner of The Style Shop. Back From California Horace Leland, principal of the Tenmile School, and Mrs. Leland have re turned to their home from Red mond, Calif. Thev report excellent weather and a fine trip. Mrs. Watzig Home Mrs. Wat zig has returned to her home at 435 South Main street, following Easter Sunday and several days in Portland visiting her son and daughter-in-law, Mr. and Mrs. Frances Watzlp. Returns to Eugene Gordon Gerretsen has returned to Eugene to resume his studies at Univer sity of Oregon, following spring vacation visiting his parents and brother, Mr. and Mrs. Will H. Gerretsen and Donald GeiTetsen, on Blakeley street. Leave For Seattle Mr. and Mrs. A. M. Jacklin and daughter, Diane, and son. Donald, of Rose burg, left Wednesday for Seattle to spend the remainder of the week visiting Mrs. Jacklin's brother-in-law and sister, Mr. and Mrs. Perry Brubaker; her brother, O, - R. Return to Work Del McKay, KRNR radio announcer, has re sumed his duties at the studio, following two weeks vacationing in Hollywood and other points of Interest in California.
