The 'Ten Little Indians" nf th.
Koseburg High School basketball
team travel westward this week
end to trade shots with the so-tar
uncieteated Coos Bay Pirates in a
couple of games which may be
crucial ones for both teams. The
Coos Bay team is at the top of
the league with 9 wins and 0
losses, and still has most of its
players from last year's cham
pionship team.
The Indians have won all ex
cept their first two games ihoth
with North Bend), one of which
they lost by one point and the
other by two. And North Bend, In
turn, lost two games to Mvrtle
Point, a school which Roseburg
trimmed twice later in the sea
son. Koseburg is now second in
the league race with 7 victories
and 2 defeats, although on paper
North Bend holds that place by
vii iue oi d wins ana i losses.
As the two ton teams tnnHr
Friuay lor the first time this sea
son, there is indication that the
game will be a close one and a
decisive one.
