the Armory.
Mrs. Story lies and Mrs. L. L.
Spencer are general chairmen of
the affair and are being assisted

of the club. Vic Rice's orchestra
has been engaged to furnish the
music for the affair.
Proceeds of the dance will be
used to carry out civic projecls

The November meeting of the
Roseburg Circle was held at the
home of Mrs. M. C. Mix. Reports
were given by committees and
a discussion was held regarding
the rummage sale, which was held
November 1. 1 he committee ex
pressed appreciation to all per-
sons making the sale so success.

The Umpqua Mineral Club held
its regular November meeting on
