Society and Clubs By BETTY ALLEN WOMEN'S SOCIETY HOLDS MEETING Dlllard Women's Society of Christian Service held a gptluck luncheon at the Dlllard Methodist church Thursday followed by a social hour of games and a busi ness meeting in charge of Mrs. Nina Coon. Mrs. Virginia Laur ance was in charge of devotions assisted by Mrs. Helen Buell at the piano. The prayer service and Bible Study meeting will be held in the near future at the home of Helen and Bertha Rummell. Plans for a Christmas party were made, to be held Dec. 19 at 1 p. m. at the home of Mrs. Vivian Laurance with those attending bringing a gift for exchange. Attending were Rev. and Mrs. Imogine Appleyard. Mrs. Myrtle Burch, Mm. Mercy Buell. Mrs. Nina Coon, Mrs. Nan Wilson, Mrs. Edith Hensen, Mrs. Roy Martinson, Mrs. Cora Evans, Mrs. Rosa Helnbach. Visiting and games were enjoyed with Mrs. Bill Belcher and Mrs. Chet Hamm winning prizes. At the tea hour refreshments were served to Mrs. Roy Jones, Mrs. Bill Belcher, Mrs. Emmltt Belcher. Mrs. Nora I'cmlcrgrass won a prize at bingo and Mr Eunice Sory received a prize in the "Name that Song" contest. Refreshment were served to Mrs. Clara Sticwig, Mrs. Mabel Patterson, Mrs. E. E. SURPRISE PARTY AT SQUIER HOME SUTHERLIN Arlene Squier, whose birthday anniversary oc curred December 5th, was honor ed at a surprise party by her mother, Mrs. Floyd Squier Thurs day afternoon at their home on Nrrth State Street. Games were enjoyed and many gifts were presented to Arlene by Bonnie and Gene Holm, Lula Pine, June Beck, June Cratty, Patty Mornlngstar, Elton and Farrin Holm, Delvln Holm, Mr. and Mrs. E. R. Holm, grand parents of Arlene. Mrs. Bud Holm and the hostess, Mrs. Squier. DINNER HONORS 25TH BIRTHDAY Mrs. Eldon Howard entertained with a dinner Sunday honoring hrr husband on his 25th birthday.
